With over 40 successful years in Commercial Radio, including top rating Breakfast Announcing Adelaide 5AA & Sydney 2UW, Tony ‘Pilko’ Pilkington OAM has achieved incredible heights including an Australian Radio Hall of Fame Recipient.
Having been broadcast from every Australian Capital City as well as London, Los Angeles, New York and the ‘Word 1st’ – for a western commercial broadcaster – Moscow!
He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australian for his service to the broadcast media industry as an announcer, and to the community for his work with charity organisations.
Tony ‘Pilko’ Pilkington is an outstanding and entertaining speaker, with a broad knowledge and talent for sharing ’stories’ on most topics including politics, community, world events and his particular favourite – sports. His friendship and long history with Sir Donald Bradman has him weave many stories from that association which has the audience ‘on their seats’!
